The Intersection of Technology and Nature
The artist’s fascination with the intersection of technology and nature is a recurring theme in Branson’s Fragments collection. This theme is reflected in the use of materials and techniques that blend the organic and the synthetic.
These materials are often combined in innovative ways to create complex and intricate forms.

Can you tell us more about the project’s vision and goals? I have always been fascinated by the concept of time and its relationship with technology. How do we, as artists, navigate this complex dynamic? In Fragments, I aim to explore this concept through a series of performances and installations that delve into the intersection of technology and time. My goal is to challenge the way we perceive and experience time, and to create a new understanding of what it means to live in the present moment. I believe that technology has the power to either enhance or hinder our ability to experience time. On one hand, technology can provide us with a sense of control and precision, allowing us to manipulate and edit our experiences of time. On the other hand, technology can also create a sense of disconnection and fragmentation, making it difficult for us to truly experience the present moment. In Fragments, I aim to create a series of performances that blur the lines between technology and time. Through a combination of live performance, video projections, and interactive installations, I aim to create an immersive experience that challenges the viewer to re-evaluate their relationship with time. One of the key themes in Fragments is the concept of temporal fragmentation. This refers to the way in which technology can create a sense of disconnection and dislocation from the present moment.
