The value of Turkish jewellery exports soared 72.1 percent year-on-year in the first quarter, reaching $2.5 billion. The UAE was the largest export market, accounting for $1.2 billion of the total. Other significant markets included the US, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Mexico, Kyrgyzstan, and Libya.
